OK, well i just got my Super Best W Driver in the post this weekend, and theres a chip in the red metallic paint.

can anyone suggest a suitable way to touch this up?

i.e. any particular marker pens, etc?

further inspection actually shows it isnt a chip, but a speck of stray bandai silver paint. but still, best way to correct it?

Tamiya makes metallic red spray paint.

Alternatively, you can paint a metallic coating by hand if you use a chrome-based paint as a starter, and paint over with a clear paint.

There are metallic red Gundam markers out there, but I find that they're only good for small touch up works. I'd be worried about the shade of paints not matching up.

small touch ups is all i need. its a speck about 1mm across. thats all

It could just be me, but I bought a metallic red Gundam Marker a few weeks ago,and no matter how much I shake the damn thing, the colors don't seem to mix properly and it always comes out silver with a tiny red outline.
