There are so many iconic voice performances in animated series that it's hard to narrow them down, but a few really stand out because of the unique flair and depth the actors brought to their characters.
One of my all-time favorites is
Tom Kenny as SpongeBob SquarePants. The way he infuses so much energy and childlike joy into the character is unmatched. His ability to shift from silly moments to more emotional scenes really drives the show's heart and makes SpongeBob relatable, despite his over-the-top antics.
Another great performance is by Tara Strong as
Harley Quinn in
Batman: The Animated Series. Tara's portrayal not only established Harley as a fan-favorite but also gave her an unmistakable personality that blended humor and darkness. This layered performance helped expand Harley's character beyond her original comic book roots.
I can't forget about Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson in

Lastly, I'd recommend
Jennifer Hale as Ash in
Pokemon: The Original Series. Her energetic and passionate performance really brought the character to life, making Ash feel determined and relatable as he chased his dream of becoming a Pokémon Master.
