How the **** is G Gundam overrated?It was a flop when it aired*only it's merchandise sales prevented Bandai from calling it a failure* and a majority of Gundam fans treat it like the bane of they're existence.If anything it's underated.

Compared to the ratings and merchandising flop that was Victory Gundam the year before, G Gundam was actually considered a huge success in Japan. It revitalized the franchise and a lot of what it did is still being ripped off/homaged/referenced to this day.

While I'm not a fan of some of its plot twists, the only Gundam fans who really treat G as "the bane of their existence" are those who think Zeta Gundam is the be-all-end-all of Gundam. (Hey! Speaking of ridiculously overrated shows...)
