TOMORROW the 11th Doctor to be announced

The 13 lives still should be there but its really up in the air, they will probably create some kind of plot device that allows the Doctor more regenerations. From the old series the Time Lord High Council sounded like they set the cap on regenerations and such and they could change that cap for any given individual.

Hmm. Did the Time Lords set that cap for the Doctor when he got banished at the end of Troughton's run as Doctor 2?

Don't think so. The Time Lord's would talk like "We'll grant you more regenerations" Or "we'll take away a regeneration" You get the idea. It would make sense for the Time Lord's to create the regeneration cap to stop tyranny like from Omega.

Just read it this morning in the paper on the way home from work. I have no idea what to think of this new guy. Hopefully he is as entertaining as Tennant.

I'm just glad David is doing the Who specials for this year. I'll worry about the 11th Doctor next year.
