Welcome to the board, toku fans.
tokuAsia Blueprint 2007
What is this all about?
As part of the tokuAsia Movie Festival 2007, Blueprint 2007 is the very first Fan Art contest that tokuAsia will organize. This year, the theme of the contest will be ‘A New Tomorrow’. Prizes will also be given away to the top 3 winners.
Why this theme?
When we were thinking about a Tokusatsu, normally a hero fights to try create a better future for people. A brighter tomorrow that will let people forget about the darkness of today. Hence the theme ‘Paint A Brighter Tomorrow'.
What are the judges looking for?
A hero, in a composition of that fits the theme. You can do it in whatever color, black and white, monochrome, fully colored, up to you. The judging will also be concentrated on three things: Content, Concept and Creativity.
What are the requirements?
A 2D image. A maximum of 1600×1200 resolution, minimum of 640×480 resolution, 75dpi, in JPG format. You can include a background if you want to. But please have decent details in your composition of the picture. Do include a write up of a maximum of 250 words that describes your work. You can give a name to your character if it is your own creation. Applicants are only allowed to submit one artwork.
The deadline for this contest is 21st May 2007. Artworks will be showcased at our forum from 1st June 2007 to 30th June 2007.
Please submit your work in a zip file, and email it to [email protected].
You can upload the zip file to www.YouSendIt.com too and have the link emailed to the same email address stated above.
Work In Progress
Participants are advised to submit their work in progress too, so as to prove the originality of the piece of artwork. Participants are to zip up the work in progress files together with the final artwork.
