Tokusatsu = SFX . Fact : Tokusatsu isn't made the same way anymore. Some people like it as it used to be , some don't. Some like both.

The issue is: Brazilian people is nostalgic for everything (Except for soap operas).

here in some hispanic countries of latin america (like ecuador, peru) some shows like Liveman, Flashman and Jiban were broadcasted in the 90's.
