This Is A Home Gameing Setup

What cost is the projector!!!

But the set up is cool.

I keep telling people to get you a computer (or a graphics card) that has video out. You can watch all your avi files right off the computer on the tv. You can also record directly to dvd using a standalone vhs/dvd-r recorder.

The guy mentioned that he plays his game roms off the computer on the big screen.

Depends on the type of projector. the particular one he has runs for around 2k street price. but you can get decent ones for under 1k that can still handle hd

Looking at the blueprints for the guys controller coffee table makes me want to attempt one myself. It's really no different from building an arcade stick (which I've done many a time before when i was building mame-boxs) , it's just on a larger scale and using a different board as the base, the downside is that I rarely bother playing my actual nes anymore, preferring to run everything through emulators (it's convenient having 10 different systems on a modded xbox)

I might instead take apart a couple of my tournament sticks and wire them up into something similar for the original xbox, but geared more towards arcade games and fighters. making a similar storage container for my systems not in use (saves having to dust them off after all) as well as acting as a dual arcade stick for fighters or multi-player brawlers (re: Xmen )
