Ah, Denjiman! One of the "forgotten 5"
Its funny when you speak about old Sentai, people will always jump from JAKQ to Bioman, and everything in-between rarely gets any discussion...

I have been dying to watch Denjiman ever since I heard that Machiko Soga made her Sentai debut in it

Technically, it wasn't her debut -- she played a villain of the week in a cool episode of Battle Fever J.

EDIT: Oh, and yesterday (February 2nd) marked the 25th anniversary of Changeman's premiere. :band:

Hmmm, lots of sentai debuts in february for some reason HA HA.

Seriously, Denziman is significant because it really helped to define the modern sentai. Battle Fever J introduced the sentai robo but it was in Denziman where they borrowed the growing monsters from Spider-Man, had an actual henshin device (albeit a ring like the silver age Flash - and no the "coffins" in JAKQ shouldn't count), and the uniforms were more streamlined unlike BFJ... and the lack of bug eyes!

Well, Changeman's significant because it's the best ever sentai show. So, there!

To add to your list, Denjiman's also the first to use the "man" in the name, which has always been better than "ranger" or "ger." Toei needs to go back to "man," man!
