Now, where exacally does this fit into Doctor Who and Torchwood's timeline?.

Hmm... was thinking about renting this off Netflix, but it looks like Dr. Who: For Kids.

Yes... but surprisingly the writing is better on some of these episodes than quite a few Doctor Who episodes.

The Doctors in two of the episodes too.

It is essentially doctor who with less death.

It takes place after sarah janes reintroduction, and runs alongside the two series as you can tell by times when they menion certain events that have happened in other series.

Well technically Dr. Who is for kids. This is just... more for kids.

Despite being "for kids" it's still a well written and fun show. It's not as dark as Doctor Who sometimes gets, but not as emo as it sometimes gets either.
