The New "R" Rating Advisory

The MPAA is in the midst of tweaking the movie rating system. They just anounced that accompanying the R rating there will be a new advisory *clears throat, puts on glasses*..."Generally, it is not appropriate for parents to bring their young children with them to R-rated motion pictures."

Apparently some folks were upset that children were getting to see R movies (probably because they never got to when they were kids). Somehow I don't think this "duh" warning is going to change much, and the MPAA just pissed away some money on R&D for that text.... ^_^;

New? HAHAHAHA XD

Thats the same as it meant before, Now it just has bigger words, And people don't "like" kids going into them anyways, but that doesn't mean people don't do it anyways, I just gotta say one thing about this "new" rating, :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

little kids shouldn't get into R rated films cause then you have mothers sitting behind you at 300 telling thier little kids to cover thier eyes when Leonidas gets it freak on with his wife.

and belive it or not, When I went to see it, I was sitting next to a family who was doing exactly that :P

When I go to movies I'm tired of hearing the kid crying behind me because The Bride slashed off one of the Crazy 88's arm. -_-

The MPAA should make it so no one under the age of 17 can get into a rated R movie whether or not mommy and daddy are with them. It's ANNOYING when you're a movie - meant for adults - and there's a bunch of kids (or even annoying, talkative teens) yapping or running around.
