The atmospheric world and intricate lore of "Gothic" created such a rich experience, making players feel genuinely part of an immersively dangerous yet enchanting realm. I find its emphasis on story and character interaction to be a standout feature. On the flip side, "Dark Messiah of Might and Magic" brought incredible physics-based combat to the forefront, allowing for creative gameplay that felt ahead of its time. The freedom to manipulate the environment and use stealth or brute force was thrilling. Both games brought something unique to the table in the action RPG space, but which one do you think has left a more lasting impact on the genre?
