not sure if its game of the year material but then again, I dont know what is. This year had some great games I guess Mass Effect was one of the best ones out of the bunch to have come out.

I would to if not for the ending. I felt the ending of Bioshock was powerfully disappointing.
They give us this long game of majesty and then punk out with a 30 second ending.

The ending of ME doesnt disappoint. At all. Just completed it a second time earlier this morning. Plan on running through 1 more time and finding even more side quests that I missed out on the first two times

Yup, and both just happen too swift for me.
I like fully bodied climax and epilogue in my endings. I always hate in games of high production value that with all the glit, glamor and whatnot... all they give you for an ending is like... 30 seconds. After all the work I put into a game like that, they better put in a good 5 minutes of epilogue at the very least.
I haven't beat Mass Effect. I've no desire to be done with that game anytime soon. Right now, it looks like I'm on some ice planet tracking down Benezia. :anime:

I notice a lot of gamers have trouble with that particular boss fight. (Benezia) (Bring Liara if you've grabbed her, for added story/drama)

Even though the ending of Bioshock was a tad pants, I still think it should be game of the year :thumbs:
