Thought I'd use my DVD Ripper to encode a clip of Kamen Rider Black RX, with HK Subs, just to show you how dodgy they can be!!

First of all, Here are a few screencaps..

Queer actually has no real connection to homosexual, so while it's a little weird (queer) to people who don't use the word often, it's actually a fit word for strange or abnormal.

But yeah, HKs suck scorpion penis and all that stuff.

HK subs are translated first into Chinese and the chinese is turned into English, that is why the grammar and structure is wrong.
This is the same for the names. Kotaro and Guang Tai Lang as you can tell sound very similar this is because that is how it is pronunced in Chinese. As for it being used differently 3 different times, I guess they have more than one translater since there is no "correct" way to romanize Cantonese.

Kaijin is made up of two characters, Strange and Human, so that is why it became Queer Guy, which should convey the same meaning. I assume the translater just used a bad Chinese to English dictionary.

They also used the Chinese names and translated it into english. Kamen Rider in Chinese, translated literally is Masked Super Man. Roborider, in different version is "Machine Superman" and Biorider is "Life Superman" so maybe that's why they used the word organism.

But anyways, this episode was subbed horribly. I remember watching this because I also have the RX DVD. But most of the series and actually most of the HK subs are pretty decent. I know a few episodes of Blade where Leangle referred to himself as "I am the Supermarket Leangle"
