The Demo Is Out For Star Ocean: The Second Story R

<p>Curiously absent from yesterday’s Nintendo Direct was the announcement of a free demo for Star Ocean: The Second Story R. The demo was released a short time after the Direct, clearly timed to ride hype from it, yet….no mention. You had to follow the official Star Ocean Twitter account (or Wario64’s) to be notified this was a thing.</p>

Well, you know, I'm not really into all this Star Ocean stuff. JRPGs have never been my thing. I'm more of a fighting game enthusiast, and Mortal Kombat 1 is where it's at for me. That game's a classic, and for me, it's the game of the year, period.

Not gonna lie, I was glued to that eight-minute gameplay trailer. The planet Expel looks stunning, and I'm already invested in its inhabitants' stories. ? #StarOceanWorldStar Ocean: The Second Story on the PS1 was a classic, and this remake has me hyped!
