FF7 The demo is now on PSN!

Final Fantasy VII (1997): Mercenary Cloud Strife joins eco-terrorists to fight a megacorporation draining the planet’s life force. Its cinematic scope, Sephiroth, and 3D leap made it a global phenomenon. AKA Final Fantasy 7, FF7, FFVII

It is time to play the free demo! I am currently downloading it and I am already around 40%, I hope my internet connection gets faster because I want to play it right now! Anyone here who already played the demo? Please share your experience with the demo! The demo is 45 minutes to an hour long!! That is a lot of gameplay! I heard that this demo though will not reflect to what the final product will be like but it is enough to give as a glimpse and a taste of the game!

Not fan of the original but I enjoyed playing the demo of the remake. This remake just polished this game for a younger generation of gamer like me. It took me 2 hours to finish the demo and I want more.

This is my experience from the demo:

The gameplay reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy XV than Final Fantasy VII, the original. The environment is so realistic, they look like real concrete floor with all those details and texture. The place really looks polluted and the game is set in a Polluted planet. There is no jump button! I love the slow mo attacks!

I enjoyed the demo but I have some complaints. First is the brightness, just because the game's story have a dark theme it doesn't meant the surroundings should be super dark. I felt like I am playing Silent Hill in some parts of the demo so I have to go to the settings and max out the brightness. The gameplay make me felt like I am playing a Hack N slash game like No more heroes and Devil may Cry. Good thing there is classic mode.

The first boss fight is lit! I died three times before I get to finish it. After you finish the demon you will see a very short montage of gameplay footages. I wish I get to play Tifa but the demo only have Cloud and Barret. I just pre-ordered so I can play the full version. The demo is worth downloading so I can declare the full version will be worth buying.

I am digging the demo, its is really fun and I had a blast on how challenging yet addicting it is. After the explosion in the end, I was begging for more. My brother hated it though, He prefers turn based system and called this game a button masher for noobs. I don't agree with him because videogames are supposed to be fun and I have nothing but fun.

I haven't played the original too because I am a graphics whore,I can't play games with unrealistic graphics. I also can't stand 2d. I am open to playing all the remakes of the series too. Remaking old games is the best way to reach younger audience like me.

I wish Jessie is playabled, I want her to end up with Cloud.

I imagined Barrett as a gentle giant when I played the original. He is nothing like what I imagined on this remake. He is a loud and angry dude who screams a lot but still likable. This demo made me want to play more. Best 1 hour of my life, just imagine all the fun I will have in the full version,

I decided to play the demo again later. I want to find some easter eggs on the environment. I also heard the demo have a secret ending but you have to do certain tasks to unlock it. I will share all the easter eggs I found later. You guys can beat me to it if you like.
