Hey guys so i'm just gonna jump right into it. This is a cooking thread, this is here for you guys to share recipes of things that you've made or tried out and enjoyed, it'd be much obliged if you include a picture of the finished product.
So this is my first time eating today, so I had a craving for an omelette, but I was kinda discouraged because my first two omelettes have turned out like ****, sticking to the pan, won't flip over, but still delicious. So i decided to do some research on how to properly make an omelette, i know some of ya'll are thinking this guy needs to look up how to make an omelette? Well, whatever it takes to get that presentation and flavor you're looking for. So i remembered that i'm subscribed to a guy on youtube named Jackatak, and he's mainly a cooking guy, makes easy-hard recipes and sometimes even does blogs and product reviews, so i went and peeped one of his omelette videos [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27BigIWxMMw](click for the video)[/ame]
So as you can see, somebody recommended that you broil the omelette after adding the ingredients, at first i was like that's stupid, but seeing as how nicely his turned out i though why not give it a try, couldn't hurt. So i made my omelette:
Recipe
6 Slices of Ham
1 Square of Cheese
2 Eggs (For added nutrition, use 1 egg and an adequate amount of egg whites instead)
Salt
Quick Note: Normally I add some stir fried rice from the Chinese restaurants, but we haven't gone to a Chinese place in a while.
Get out all of your ingredients, and pre-heat your skillet. Mix the eggs with some salt or whatever you please. Add the egg mixture to the pan, cook till bottom is brownish, then add the ingredients. What i did was put the slives of ham around the egg mixture so it covered it and the egg wasn't visible, then tear apart your cheese and place it over the ham. Turn oven on broil and place pan in oven for 2-3 minutes. Remove pan when the timer goes off, put ham in plate and enjoy! :
Product should look similar to, or better than this. (I realize that I need to work on my presentation, but this turned out a lot better than my previous omelettes, so for now, i'm happy.)

I'll be adding a smoothie recipe later tonight so keep on the lookout for that.
