Both Tom Hiddleston's Loki and Thanos, as portrayed by Josh Brolin in "Infinity War," are incredible villains with rich motivations and complex character arcs, but they represent very different kinds of villainy. Loki is driven by a need for recognition and a chaotic desire for power, creating a sense of unpredictability that keeps audiences on their toes. Thanos, on the other hand, believes he's on a quest to achieve balance in the universe, which ironically adds a layer of tragic nobility to his actions, even as they lead to immense destruction. I love how "Infinity War" plays with his philosophy, turning the character into a pseudo-hero for his fans. Who do you think does a better job of embodying what makes a great villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Loki's chaotic nature is what makes him so compelling, especially in those moments when he goes from wanting to destroy the world to genuinely caring about his family. The scene in "Infinity War" where he tries to save Thor before facing Thanos? Heart-wrenching. It really highlights that inner conflict and unpredictability you mentioned! Do you think he ever really redeemed himself in the eyes of the universe by the end?
