“The Brave Yong Soo-Jung” is a Korean drama series released in 2024, with 100+ episodes, and categorized as Romance, Comedy, and Revenge. Episodes started airing in May 2024 and will run through October 2024. ♦ Does Fortune Really Smile on the Brave? In “The Brave Yong Soo-Jung”, we meet Yong Soo-Jung, a young girl who sort of lives like a princess. That means she lives in a beautiful home with loving parents who dote on her. But all is not perfect in her life. Her mother is suffering from cancer. The parents are going to go away for the mother to get medical treatment. It’s only for 10 days and they promise they will come back. While they are gone the parents leave her in the care of another woman called “Auntie” who has a daughter about the same age as Yong Soo-Jung. The mother is covetous of everything the parents have and her daughter, Choi Hye-Ra, is envious of everything Yong Soo-jung has. As children are prone to do,

Sounds like a classic Cinderella story with a brave twist! Yong Soo-Jung overcoming adversity and finding love? I'm all for it. Seo Jun-Young is easy on the eyes too. This drama might be my new guilty pleasure.

A 100+ episode K-drama? No thanks! Life's too short for that much commitment. And the plot sounds a bit cliche - people separated at birth, evil stepmother, good versus evil. Give me something more original.

I absolutely love the sound of "The Brave Yong Soo-jung"! It’s heartwarming to see a story where the main character faces so many trials yet finds ways to overcome them with bravery and a bit of good fortune. The way Yong Soo-jung is portrayed reminds me of classic fairytales, but with a modern twist that’s relatable. The blend of romance, comedy, and revenge sounds perfect for keeping the story engaging over 100 episodes. Plus, seeing her grow from a child into a determined adult is inspiring. I can’t wait to see how her story unfolds and how she navigates all the drama in her life!

Having lost my mother at a young age, I know how life-changing and challenging it can be to grow up without that support. Her resilience and the kindness of strangers in her life resonate deeply. I’m especially interested in how her relationship with her adoptive father develops and how she navigates her ambitions despite her past. This show seems like it could be a touching tribute to the power of perseverance and kindness.

I live for dramas like "The Brave Yong Soo-jung"! The intricate plot with long-lost family members and secret connections is exactly what I enjoy in a TV series. I’m particularly intrigued by how all the characters’ lives are intertwined and how their pasts will impact their futures. The potential for dramatic reveals and confrontations is immense, and I’m here for all the emotional rollercoasters. Plus, the backdrop of a home shopping channel adds a unique twist that I haven’t seen before.

One concern I have with "The Brave Yong Soo-jung" is the pacing. With over 100 episodes, there’s a risk that the story could drag or become repetitive. I hope the show maintains a good balance and keeps the narrative moving forward without unnecessary filler episodes. That said, the initial premise is compelling, and I’m curious to see how Yong Soo-jung’s character develops and how the various subplots intertwine. I’ll give it a chance but with cautious optimism.

These are short episodes, uploaded daily, Mon-Fri. The female lead is brave because she endures a lot. But she is also kind of stupid. You would think that after so many people have swirled around you and tried to screw you over, you would develop “spidey senses”. But she does things as if she's clueless and nothing bad has ever happened to her. Nice does not equal clueless + stupid.

The character, Yong Soo-Jung INSISTS that she doesn't want to be treated like Cinderella. For the past two weeks, the Olympic games have been airing so this show was not aired. I have been anxiously for 2 weeks.

Last night, I watched the episode where I left off before the games. Yong Soo-Jung crashed her ex-boyfriend's engagement party. Watching that scene was very cathartic. LOL.

I HATE HER ENEMIES!! Why? Because she has done nothing to them to deserve that type of evil treatment. I can't wait to see her take them all down!
