It's a direct to video release from the late 90s, so it's safe to say it's probably gone under a lot of people's radars despite having the staff that it has. (as far as us English speaking fans go)

It's one of those low key toku...where you can only hear about it through word of mouth.

It's really sad that such a great show remains so unpopular. It has amazing special effects and - the most important thing - it will keep surprising you all the way you watch it. That's really one of the best daikaiju tv-shows ever. I really love it.

By the way, Tekkouki Mikazuki has been recently fansubbed by Hi no Tori, so those who wanted to watch it are able do it now.

I heard it was low-key, considering it wasn't fully subbed until 'bout 10 years later after its release.

I also read that he made a magical girl show(?) Magical girls and Keita Amemiya.... hmmmm......
