SUPERMAN: The Man of Steel - Pre-Discussion

[Forever Knight]

I actually liked Superman Returns suit. I thought it was pretty cool.

Agreed. I think Brandon Routh also did a solid fucking job as Superman. I hope this new guy is just as good.

The Returns suit needed too be a shade or two brighter and needed a slightly bigger S shield.

I'm sad too see that the cape won't be drooped over the shoulders like in All-Star Superman:disappoin

[Keith Justice]

Superman.. just seeing him inspires. Picture I'm seeing doesn't inspire. I feel more fear and darkness off this guy than pride in the best of humanity.

[Forever Knight]

I haven't watched All-Star yet, but your telling me Supes has a cape shoulder droop ala Batman?.... :O_O:

The only blue shade I've ever noticed being off was in The Adventures of Lois & Clark.

To quote the Kryptonian himself-

"It's not about where you were born. Or what powers you have. Or what you wear on your chest. It's about what you do... it's about action."

The best costume design in the world won't mean a thing unless they can successfully tell a good story with it.

Exactly

Admittedly, this isn't the most flattering picture. I mean, what do you expect from an early, first shot? But I am still excited about this. I bet the more we see, the better it is going to get. I support this, and I just want this to get better and better as it goes along.

Superman with some attitude perhaps?.

Spawn wants his cape back. Aquaman wants his bodysuit texture back and Superman wants to know who the hell turned the saturation down so damn low his suit has Bizzaro's colors.

[chronoxiong]

Not bad. The suit's material looks totally different from previous costumes. It might be a good thing. They really are modernizing Superman with that suit. I want to see more photos now.
