Superman Legacy Is Now Just "Superman"

Security has been pretty tight on WB’s Superman Legacy; no one really knows what the plot is or what the film’s about other than “Superman is in it.” It’s kind of important that they get it right: it’s supposed to launch the revamped DCU and a zillion films in its wake, and it has to do that WHILE fighting the well-documented “superhero fatigue” at the box office.

Isn't this a lovely surprise? I've been excitedly expecting James Gunn's take on Superman, and the fact that filming has begun only adds to my excitement. The title change to simply "Superman" feels appropriate, indicating a new beginning for the famous figure. I can't wait to see what Gunn and his brilliant cast bring to the table!

Hoping James Gunn's "Superman" has the ability to break the superhero movie flop streak and usher in a new age of enthusiasm and originality to the genre. With Gunn's track record of bringing new viewpoints and emotional depth to his productions, there's hope that this picture will provide a riveting and unforgettable take on the iconic superhero. Here's hoping that "Superman" is the game changer that revitalizes the superhero film landscape and captivates people around the world.

Oh, how intriguing! James Gunn's decision to change the film's title from "Superman: Legacy" to simply "Superman" speaks volumes. Perhaps it represents a break from the conventional superhero tale, with a focus on the character's soul. With such an impressive cast, including Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, I'm excited to see how this new vision unfolds.

Consider this to be Superman in reverse from Kingdom Come. Rather than growing old and returning to teach the next generation of heroes about justice, he is embarking on his mission and delivering his brand of justice to hero culture in the past. I'm excited for this. Good job, James Gunn! Given that the original film was named Superman: The Movie, and this one is simply Superman, I don't believe the title will be too confusing.

Wow, the DCEU is shaking things up again! The shift from "Superman Legacy" to "Superman" signals a renewed focus on the Man of Steel himself, and with James Gunn steering the ship, I'm beyond excited. Plus, starting principal photography on Superman's birthday? It's like destiny! Can't wait to see how this film sets the stage for the future of the DCEU.

Hey, I'm all for spicing things up, but I'm crossing my fingers this switch from "Superman Legacy" to just "Superman" doesn't mean we're in for a woke overhaul. Superman's been an icon for decades, and there's something special about sticking to his roots. Let's hope James Gunn keeps it real and delivers a Superman flick that stays faithful to the character's timeless appeal.
