Those of you anticipating the game will probably have heard about the game leaking a few days early, and videos/ screenshots popping up all over 2chan, youtube and forums everywhere. Several characters were confirmed, one in particular

(ROB, and a few supposed 'clones')

sparking trolling/ complaining/ anger/ stupidity, but there's some nice choices in there, and the final character select screen with all characters unlocked has been shown:

I saw the roster list the other day and to be honest, I'm pretty let down. All that crap about no clones and there's plenty. There's only a few real additions to the game and I'm probably not alone in thinking that they're pretty crap choices.

LOL is that the robot from that Chibi Robo game?

Also I don't quite reconize that charecter, the one who's face is shadowed

Hey, there's plenty of choices, and there's only five "clones" not counting the first ones. I hate that people call them clones and make a big deal out of it, though, because they're never exactly the same, and almost every fighting game has clone characters. There's 30 other characters there providing plenty choice, and the 'clones' provide more choice in actual looks and move variation etc.

And there's been loads of additions- not just the numerous new characters and existing character changes, but gameplay elements too; story mode, wifi, items, final smashes, stages, minigames, special matches etc...

Well at least you guys are "let down" unlike the other boards I've been to.

The amount of unnecessary bitching about this game is staggering.
