[Video Game] Super Climax Heroes (All New Info in First Post)

^Agreed on Decade being a top tier character. How about Blade then?
The CHF Blade was very underpowered and not enjoyable at all, all his good point was the Power Up Styles (Jack and King Form).
Then comes SCH, he changes. Rider Art give him the power he once lose (from the first CH, I think). Lightning Sonic is very fast that it will punish any opponent who let their guard down instantly. Not to mention his special, Tackle, is quite good this time around. The attack can still hit your opponent even though they think they already evade that attack, the Tackle charge is still there when Blade stop. If they are too late, then Blade can already get ready for their attacks. But what's the function of Thunder (Up/Down/Right/Left special) other than giving Blade's sword electrical charge?
Blade Jack Form is nerfed from last game, but that doesn't mean he's not fun to play with.
Blade King is a monster, like Decade Complete, 'nuff said.
Can't wait for your review of blade :)

I think Lightning Slash increases the damage for normal attacks.

Blade King is definitely a monster, in fact it's a massacre will you use it correctly. I can spam any strong combo then RC for RSF Beam to completely drain the opponent's life gauge and the meter fills so quickly little to no charging is required at all.

If I remember correctly, in the first CH, Blade can do Lightning Slash attack just like Fourze Elek States' Rider 10 Billion Volt Blast (Down/Up special). But it was removed and Blade Ace form did not have good special attacks until Lightning Sonic Rider Art in SCH.

That's Blade King's greatest strength, IMO the only rider who can fight him face to face during CHF was Kabuto Hyper. Well, SCH is a different story but both riders are still top tier characters.

the difference being its was Blade's "summon" attack and that the attack was unblockable+has invulnerability frames+can be comboed into from anything it takes 2 segments to perform IIRC(that or 3 if it was a counter attack, because beat lion is also assigned to the same button and i don't remember which triggers what)

Yep in the original CH. Lightning Slash is still there which adds damage, but the extra alternate dimension Thunder is the one that actually stuns the enemy and deals and extra slash after it. That's the spam that made Blade so hard to beat in that game. Also Beat was activated when you were attacked instead of Thunder.

Lightning Sonic use to be much faster though. Even side-stepping wouldn't do anything since Blade can run at you before you're ready to deal any sort of attack (not even Kaubto's clock-up special was fast enough) The only way I remember that can stop the spam is to either grab the opponent, or run towards the opponent and slide on the ground kick. So when Blade starts running he gets hit by the leg and stops, but it has to be perfectly timed.

i dunno if this is already common knowledge or not but you can steer the teleport RA's much like "serious" fighting games, pressing backwards will make you always appear in front of the enemy, pressing forward will always makes you appear behind them(even when neutral RA cannot do it), pressing up/down will make you appear in the air on top of the enemy

it's not much but for Odin it gives him less predictability since his teleports are so fast and people usually reach to the backside teleports only

Hey, I'm pretty new here and I only made an account so I could possibly join the convo.

Can anyone confirm this, you CAN'T Burst out of Rider Art after it's done (EG Kabuto's swipe and slash). Since I found that you can OTG out of some Rider Arts (Kabuto's and Ultimate Kuuga comes to mind), and your opponent can't (or won't) tech out of them, leaving you with a free combo.

I'm not all that sure about this, but yeah, I've been abusing the hell out of Kabuto's Rider Art now.

I knew Kabutos caused enough stun to OTG with but I never really experimented with it.

Anyways my next post will be about all of blades forms and then i will talk about the general metagame and the game mechanics.

Odd question, but I've been playing Meteor storm lately and I've been wondering something. His standard O attack some times is a launcher into rider kick and other times it's fire switch pole twirl. What are the factors that make them switch and if they are switchable how does one do it?
