Super-1 influenced on Masutatsu oyama?

Started watching Kamen rider Super-1 the other day and besides the astronaut theme obviously in it, I keep getting a vibe of influence from the Karate master Masutatsu Oyama's life in Kazuya Oki. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed it?
