Suits or Transformations. Sentai Edition

And his nose goes where?

It changes his body some what, morphs it if you will.

It's still his original form and if he removed his helmet his normal head would be there.

Same thing with Justin over at Power Rangers Turbo. In fact he's the best example-Powered Down, Justin is his normal 12 year old size. Powered up, he's adult sized.

When rangers transform they suit becomes body and body is made of suit, so hwen hthey damaaged nothing is bad, lol, theres when they helmet hit sometimes u see theyre're face. But thats ok because the face is made of suit so can't get hurt rangers always winmegazord.

Well...said?

It has always perplexed Glam how simple spandex could turn bloodletting blows from edged weapons into a shower of sparks....they aren't even made of metal....why sparks?

They must be robots underneath those suits. Or some kind of mutant metal-men (and women).

Rangers have Nitro for blood, just like Kaijin. This is also why Kaijin explode...well that and organs made of dynamite.

But serious, those suits may just be a super thin metal polymer that can more easily absorb and deflect blows. Just because they arn't cut doesn't mean it still doesn't hurt like **** to be hit with a sharpened piece of metal in the hands of a monster.

Er, it's pretty clearly explained what the suits are, most of the time.

They're energy in solid form.

You know, morphing gird and all that?

Mind with Super Sentai it's up in the air for whatever series you're watching, but it's almost always just a suit they're wearing made with SCIENCE.

Or magic. Either or. But your make a valid argument there.

Yeah, growing up with the '80s shows -- which liked to show you the suits battle damaged -- you know that the suits are supposed to be kind of metallic underneath, which can kind of explain why they spark and stuff:

There's also times when the books will show you what the suits are supposed to be made of:
