Streets Of Rage Remake

Final version? YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

Currently downloading right now; I'll post some thoughts on it after I've done a quick playthrough.

-EDIT-
Thoughts:

Wow, they did a MAJOR overhaul from the beta version!

You can choose your own route now, which is broken up into specific stages meant to remake the original stage order from each game.

Adam got a major moveset overhaul. He even has weapon skills now.

They changed Axel's sprite from SoR2 to BK3.

The remade music is awesome. Even more awesome than in the beta stages.

The enemies move fast. A little too fast, in fact. I hope they release a patch that slows them down slightly. There were instances in which I was like, "Stand still and take hits like a mook, you idiot!"

Overall, this is a much better game than the beta version. A definite recommendation, especially since Sega doesn't seem to want to revive this series for quite some time.

-EDIT EDIT-
Well, looks like Sega forced Bomber Games to take the game down. Although according to the Readme Sega was aware through a letter that the game was being made, they forced Bomber to take down the links anyway. Wonder if it was due to the fact that the game itself is actually very well done? In any case, we'll never know.

Might as well make the rest of you who stumble upon this aware that Sega got butthurt and pulled the game

They said they "pulled the game in an effort to protect their intellectual property", but......you know, the remake making Sega's current efforts look like **** and all that........

I know for a fact that the game will never truely die (various means of file sharing)

The game just goes to show that the fans care more about Sega's "Intellectual Property" than Sega does
