FF16 Square Finally Confirms Final Fantasy 16 For PC

Final Fantasy XVI (2023): Clive Rosfield is drawn into a brutal war fueled by magical Dominants and their summoned Eikons. It leans fully into cinematic, action-focused combat with a darker medieval tone. AKA Final Fantasy 16, FF16, FFXVI

One of the most open secrets of Final Fantasy 16 is that there will eventually be a PC version. Not only have the last few titles in the series hit PC, Square accidentally put a “PC” logo among the symbols in the original trailer announcing the game in 2020. Of course, their exclusivity deal with Sony prevented them from confirming any ports, so we’ve just had to wait.

I'll pass, I'm not inclined. I've got the PS5 version, and I don't require any additional room on my PC for gaming. My PC is exclusively for Steam titles, and I'm not keen on using up storage or spending more money on a game I already possess.

Finally, Square Enix! As a PC gamer, I've been patiently waiting for this announcement. It's great to see them bringing Final Fantasy 16 to our platform. Now, I just hope they share that release date soon

New outfits for Clive, Jill, Torgal, Ambrosia, and Joshua? Count me in! I'm all about character style, and this update sounds awesome.I wonder what those two DLC chapters will bring to the table. Can't wait to explore more of the game's universe. Hopefully, Square reveals more details soon.

The confirmation of Final Fantasy 16 coming to PC is significant. It not only opens up the game to a wider audience but also highlights the growing PC master race movement

I appreciate Square Enix taking the time to refine the PC version rather than rushing it. And the free DLC for PS5 players is a nice touch. I'm particularly intrigued by the weapon skin feature – it adds a layer of personalization without affecting stats. I'll be patiently waiting for more details on those meatier DLC chapters.

The free DLC is a smart move to keep the PS5 players engaged, and the weapon skin feature opens up so many possibilities. As for the DLC chapters, my speculation engine is running wild. What could they possibly add to an already intriguing narrative? I can't wait for the year-end info drop.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this announcement. The PC version is welcome news, and the free DLC shows Square Enix's commitment to enhancing the player experience. However, I'll reserve my excitement until we get more details on those DLC chapters. I hope they bring meaningful additions to the story rather than just extra fluff. Fingers crossed for a well-executed expansion!

Sure, they've confirmed the PC version, but I'll believe it when I see it. Square Enix has a track record of delays and changes, so until I'm installing it on my PC, I won't get my hopes up. And DLC chapters? Let's hope it's not a cash grab with minimal substance. I'll keep my expectations in check until they spill the details.

Yoshida's video felt like a magical journey into the future of Final Fantasy 16. The free DLC is a pleasant surprise, and the mysterious allure of the unrevealed DLC chapters adds an enchanting layer to the anticipation. I'm patiently awaiting the end-of-year revelations, like a spell waiting to be cast.
