As you know, Attack On Titan will be running its VERY LAST episodes, like EVER, this coming January. But there’s actually more than that. In Japan, eight bonus episodes were created for the OAD market (that’s Original Animation DVD (and that’s what they call Original Animation Video now)). Funi says they’re on the way here as well, and quicker than usual…they’re hitting the app this very Sunday.
The episodes take place in and around events from the main series, but explore what other characters happened to be doing at the same time. Episodes 1 through 3 are about Hange attempting to capture their first live Titan, Episodes 4 and 5 are an adaption of the Attack on Titan: No Regrets spinoff manga, and Episodes 6 through 8 are based on the Attack on Titan: Lost Girls spinoff novel series featuring the untold adventures of Annie and Mikasa.
