Limited Run Games presented its Not-E3 Conference this afternoon, and several bombshells were dropped (some of which we’ll get to in other articles), but there was one revealed item that says a lot about the market this company caters to. They were founded for the purpose of creating physical copies of good games, but they’ve found there’s an equally hungry and lucrative market for physical copies of BAD games.

Wow, I can't believe someone is actually making a spiritual sequel to those infamous CD-I Zelda games! It's crazy to think that there's a market for such games. I mean those games are ugly!

Well, it looks like Limited Run Games is on a mission to remind us all of the darkest corners of gaming history. First, they re-release Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, and now they're resurrecting the infamous CD-I Zelda games with Arzette: The Jewel of Paramore. Talk about scraping the bottom of the nostalgia barrel! Those animated cutscenes are so ugly, they make me question the life choices of the developers. But hey, at least they managed to find the original voice actors. Maybe they're hoping their voices will distract us from the questionable visuals!

It's like they're intentionally trying to revive a dark chapter in gaming history. The clips they showed were a painful reminder of the low-quality visuals and laughable animated cutscenes. I can't believe they went through the trouble of finding the original voice actors, as if that would somehow make this project more appealing. Arzette: The Jewel of Paramore sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, and I have zero interest in reliving the disappointment of the CD-I Zelda games.

LOL this is like the Emily in Paris of gaming. The clips they showed were a cringe-inducing reminder of the terrible visuals and awkward animated cutscenes that plagued the original games. Bringing back the original voice actors is a desperate attempt to salvage some nostalgia, but it's unlikely to make a significant difference

Those animated cutscenes are so ugly, they could give a Wizzrobe nightmares! I can't decide if they're aiming for a retro charm or if they're just trying to traumatize us all over again.
