so im getting almost $900 for my tax returns

i dont know what i should do with it because the last 2 tax returns i got where for 2 or 3 hundred (i was claimed as a dependent... blah)
so i was thinking of getting at least a tune up for my car (96' corsica) and one or some of the following, giving the money allotted.

-xbox 360 elite
-ps3
-wii
-computer built from the ground up
-hospital bills for my leg (around $200 so far)

so what do you guys think i should do...

Pay your bill then place the rest in savings.

If you REALLY want a new toy, then do what I do when I need to save money to buy something extra. Take 10% of the left over money (about $70) and put away. If you work, take another 10% from your paycheck and put away until you have the money needed to buy whatever toy you want.

I do financial conseling for a living and what mikazuki said is your best bet. Don't go buying sutff you don't really need, get your self out of outstanding debts and invests that money in something that can help yourself and the economy.

Yeah, man. Do the hospital bill first. Whenever I get paid, I just set aside a small amount for pleasurable activities. Other than that, it's food (fast or otherwise), gas and groceries.

Man I wish I could get that much on my income taxes.

Anyway, pay the bills dude. Being in debt sucks. Once that's done, I say save up a bit more and get a custom-built computer. The versatility of a well-built computer is FAR better than getting a console, IMO. :thumbs:
