So I was watching Food Network...

Oh, I watch it ALL the bloody time.

When I was younger, like....7 or so, I remember watching this cooking show with an Asian Chef. His name is Martin Yan. I remember associating him with my father, because he was Chinese, and I think I watched it out of comfort, since my mom and dad were divorced, and I rarely got to see my dad.

I also like the Canadian Chef, Michael Smith. He's got two shows I know of, "Chef at Large" and "Chef at Home". He's cute, one because he's SUPER tall, and two because he used to have super long hair which he kept in a braid. Also, his eyes are pretty.

When Faiz was over, and I was watching Chef at Home. Faiz totally made fun of Chef Michael Smith >_<. Jerk.

I dislike Rachel Ray. She's a drunk.

I LOVE Gordon Ramsey though. He's English, a former football player and he's hot like Sebastiné Roché. I love watching F Bomb, Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen. Great shows.

BUT my ALL TIME favourite chef is Jamie Oliver. He's SO cute, and passionate about his food, simplicity in cooking, fresh ingrediants. He's amazing. My favourite show of his is "Jamie at Home". Some of his many other tv shows include "The Naked Chef", "Jamie's Kitchen", "Jamie's School Dinners" and "Oliver's Twist".

He's my favorite also, he seems like a cool guy to get drunk with in a pub.

I've never heard of Tony Bourdain. Maybe we dont get any of his shows in Canada? And why would you not want to buy seafood on Monday? Please tell!
We DID get his show! It was called A CHEF'S TOUR. It's not on anymore, but he's doing a similar show on one of the American specialty networks that we don't get up here. :( I loved his show because of Tony's no-nonsense attitude towards food and because of the way he made fun of TV chefs. :P He's like the overly sarcastic dude that can be abrasive, but at the same time is great fun to be with because his sarsasm has a lot of truth in it (plus it's just funny). Plus, how can you NOT love it when a chef goes to Morocco, and makes the whole crew find a whole lamb so that they can BBQ it and eat it whole (balls included) nomad-style! :buttrock:

EDIT: Found his homepage - http://www.anthonybourdain.com/

I've read a few of his books too. If you can find a copy in the library, be sure to read Kitchen Confidential. Probably my favorite book of his, AND it explains the whole "don't order seafood on Monday" thing much better than I can.

Also, I like to watch "Restaurant Makeover", and my favourite chef on there is Lynn Crawford. The BEST episode was when these two young 'chefs' and I use to word loosley, were cooking with her. And one of them called her 'babe'. And she was like, " DID YOU JUST CALL ME "BABE"?!" And she totally went off on him and like, bitched him out. It was SO friggen awesome.
I remember that ep! Lynn is so cool, but she just about lost it there. I remember hearing him call her babe, and thinking to myself "Oh ****, you did NOT just say that!"

David Adjey is pretty cool on that show too.

I dislike Rachel, but for those of you who think she's hot, now you know what she sounds like in bed.

MARTIN YAN FTW!!!

Why? Simple, IF YAN CAN COOK, SO CAN YOU!!!

Just tell him, Michael Smith is like...6'8" tall...and you know what they say about guys that are that tall.
