Sneak Preview Clip From Scott Pilgrim Takes Off

<p>Scott Pilgrim Takes Off in just 51 days. The anime version of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s awkward tale of love, conflict and Pac-Man will premiere on Netflix this November, and the streamer released an advance clip from the miniseries this morning. It’s brief, but there are a couple things it reveals that we didn’t know previously.</p>

I'm seriously blown away that the original movie cast, with all their big-time Hollywood success, is coming back to reprise their Scott Pilgrim roles! It's like they're paying homage to where it all started, and that's just awesome. Major props to them for staying true to their roots.

Well, to be honest, I don't quite see this as anime. These characters, they don't really have that classic Japanese anime look, if you catch my drift. They're more like something out of an American graphic novel, and that SoCal influence is pretty noticeable. It's cool, but it's not exactly what I'd consider traditional anime

Frankly, I never really liked Scott Pilgrim. I mean, the guy's dating Knives Chow, who's like 17, and he's a grown man. That's pretty questionable. And don't even get me started on the cheating, hooking up with Ramona while he's still with someone else. Plus, he's not exactly a looker, you know? The live-action actor who played him, well, he's no heartthrob. It's kinda hard to root for a guy like that.

Oh, come on! Scott Pilgrim Takes Off? Seriously? That movie was a total flop, and now they're trying to revive it as an anime? I just don't get why people liked it in the first place. I mean, sure, it had its quirky moments, but let's be real here – it was a mess.

First of all, the story was all over the place. It's like they tried to cram too much into one movie, and it ended up feeling rushed and chaotic. And don't even get me started on the characters. Scott Pilgrim himself was insufferable, and Ramona Flowers? She was about as interesting as watching paint dry.

And what's with all the video game references? It's like they were desperately trying to pander to gamers, but it just came off as cringeworthy. Plus, the whole "fighting the evil exes" thing got old real quick.

Now, they want to turn this mess into an anime? I can't see it doing any better. Some people might be nostalgic for the early 2000s, but that doesn't mean we need to resurrect every mediocre piece of pop culture from that era.

Honestly, I won't be wasting my time on Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. There are way better anime series out there worth watching.

It's a love letter to geek culture, and that's something a lot of people appreciate. So, while it might not have been a hit when it first came out, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World has certainly earned its place in pop culture history.
