I liked it as well, but not as much as some people have. I had some problems with the story. But apparently this movie is now the frontrunner for the Best Picture.

Anyway I recently saw Slumdog Millioniare, easily one of the best movies of 2008 I'd say. Isn't it in the running for Best Picture?

I would say its probably the front runner now. I'm not sure if it deserves it though, besides the cool setup with Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, everything was pretty standard. Acting wasn't spectacular and I felt the story, after a really good first half, lost steam in the second.

I really want to see Sunshine, as well, just because Danny Boyle hasn't made a bad movie. Slumdog is by far the best film of the year that I've seen.

I've never been a fan of Bollywood films. Don't know why.

EDIT: Well it's not Bollywood. Still, doesn't look so appealing as everyone is hyping it to be, at least to me. I personally want to see "The Wrestler" or "Gran Torino" more.
