Single Girl Only Sentais - Problem or No?

I don't think it'll become standard. I just think that based on the infamous quote this production team has it in their head that not having a yellow which has been associated with female characters makes the team look "stronger".

I have no issue with one girl teams but I think it's just a damn shame to hear that kind of thought being the basis for the decision because it's really ignorant of Sentai's own history in addition to being insulting.

If they don't want to use the color fine. Yellow works better as a trim color anyways. But if the reasoning for not having another girl is that it somehow makes the team look weak, guess again chief. I'm not into heroes fighting but there's a lot of 2 female teams that could kick those dinosaur samba kids jurassic without breaking a sweat. Ki-friggin-ta.

I remember in the last thread we had on this subject that Lynxara mentioned the factor of suit acting but I'm not sure I want to bring up that one again, some people get touchy at it being pointed out that a dude is inside the suit of their fave Sentai girl ...

It's so nice when they do use female suit actors though. As an artist who's studied a LOT of anatomy in my time, it's really annoying to see when they're not even trying to hide the obviously male shoulder/hip ratio (there's some awful shots of BoukenYellow in Gekiranger Vs. that come to mind). Not all of them bother me though. Yellow Buster never really phased me, for example.

So, was looking at this picture of the upcoming GoBuster V-Cinema...

So it looks like they have a guest star playing a BlackBuster? and Kaitou PinkBuster returns... but she does NOT transform. So even in a silly comedy dvd special... they would rather add ANOTHER guy, rather than a girl.

It was mentioned previously in this thread. The "guest star" is one of the buddyroids' voice actors, and I think they said 'Pink Buster' is being played by a different actress.
