Should I watch Hibiki or watch a Showa Rider Show

Greetings toku fans a few months ago I watch all of the Heisei period Kamen Rider shows from 2000-2011 except for Hibiki and since we're all watching OOOz I was just curious whether to watch Hibiki or just pass on it. I've watch clips of it and it seems like something to pass up on. Hibiki has no rider kick and its traditional for each rider to have a rider kick. Also the henshin seems not worth its viewing and the animals is a bit tacky with Hibiki's final form. If I wasn't going to watch Hibiki I was going to watch Black RX next. So I'm just curious whether I should watch Hibiki or not

Thanks.....

After watching the Hibiki Movie on Blu the other day and being totally blown away at how awesome it was I'm even considering going with a rewatch on the series.

Been about 4 years since I watched Hibiki or the movie so I think I might end up doing that eventually.

So you've seen Black? Most watch Black then RX, but it doesn't even matter. I say watch X instead of Hibiki or RX. Black is a must if you haven't seen it. You really can't go wrong with Showa.

RX is only **** on bc it's got the Black title. It's a solid series imo.

Why choose? Watch both!

Though really, Hibiki has a lot going for it. I will admit the first episode is kind of odd, but the series itself is very good.

I haven't watched Black yet because I found RX to be more interesting than Black. This wasn't the only time I did this I previously watched Agito before Kuuga and Tomica Hero Rescue Fire before Rescue Force. I found Kuuga to be better than Agito as far as story and characters and Rescue Fire more than Rescue Force. Rescue Force was boring while Rescue Fire had better characters and villains. I rather not watch Hibiki but since I've seen all of the Heisei shows I should?

Ah... Agito is a better series than Kuuga. If RX caught your attention with SPACESHIPS AND EXPLOSIONS AND LIGHTSABERS AND FORM CHANGES AND ALIENS!!!, then I really suggest Black because it genuinely holds a great story between the monster of the week format. The rivalry between Black and Shadow Moon also is a plus.

^ "It's so different, it must be good."

Are you capable of giving an opinion without bashing someone else's?

I never said it was good because it was different. I said it was different. And that it was good. Lion Maru G is different and I didn't like it at all. Ryukendo is different and I didn't care much about it. Guyferd is different and I loved it.

Hibiki reads more like an indie toku series than a Rider one, a lot of the time. Which is fine, if that's what you like to watch. If you're looking for straight formulaic Rider then Hibiki probably isn't for you.
