Should I Get YAKUZA 2?

Game looks decent enough, i haven't had a chance to play my copy.. which is understandable since i just picked it upon my way home from work. For the record Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan is just plain awesome, and I'm looking forward to Ryu ga Gotoku 3 (Yakuza 3) if ti ever hits stateside,

Is it possible to play Kenzan without knowing much Japanese?

I'll say.. it's not exactly easy.. but yes, it's possible if you have a faq.. or in my case, my old roommate was visiting from japan and stayed with me for about a month, letting me bug him for translations when i got lost and couldn't pick my way through what i already know.
