As someone who has been on both sides of the social media spectrum, this drama hits close to home. I've seen friends become caught up in the chase of perfection online only to battle with their self-esteem offline. Ae-jin's narrative speaks to me because it depicts the pressure to maintain a mask of happiness and beauty even when you're hurting inside. I'm cheering for Ae-jin to break free from the constraints of social media and accept her actual self, warts included.
