SEGA Asks: "Do You Still Have a Dreamcast?"

My feelings exactly. I was really hoping Sega was at least considering coming back to the console market... or maybe a re-release of the Dreamcast. What a scam though... :/

I think it's simply unrealistic to hope for a comeback of Sega in the console hardware market. Launching such a product requires massive investments in R&D as well as setting up subsidaries and distribution channels. Sega basically closed all those after the Dreamcast failed to obtain a large enough market share. I don't know where they would get the funds (or willingness) to venture into such an undertaking again.

Think of it like this: you save up for years to buy an expensive car. Then you sell it second-hand at a much lower price. Are you going to buy that same car again at full price only a few months later?

Yeah, it would be cool if Sega made a Dreamcast 2. Oh well, Crazy Taxi still provides me with LULZ, and I have Shenmue, Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Marvel VS Capcom, and plenty of other games. I've also got a DCX disc so I can play some Japan import games. I've got Love Hina and Power Stone 2, and sometime I'd like to play some of the Shmups, including TriggerHeart Exelica, Ikaruga, etc.

Well you better hope they catch the doucebag who did this. And your not the only one who he did this too. Im sure if you look the net theres a "im a victim of putting my info up for a Sega Dreamcast", youll find a group of people going on a witch hunt for this guy.

And if they catch the guy and put him on trial, like Turkish Trial, Sega better pay you to fly there, to kick this dude in the balls (or it could be a woman, but srsly? why would a woman do that? Oh yea, to use money to buy shoes LOL), and kick him some more, then go back in line and wait your turn...:thumbs:

I don't believe this is the end of it. I got an email from "SEGA" a few days ago. It looked just like the SEGA newsletter, but it was about taking online surveys. I could tell it was bs after reading it.

I should have sent SEGA an email informing them about it. Wasn't thinking about it at the time, though.
