Just wanted to shout out that there will be some toku related events at Seattle's annual Japanese Culture and Anime convention, Sakuracon 2014. The convention will be held from 4/18 to 4/20 at the Seattle Convention Center.
There will be two panels dedicated to tokusatsu on Saturday located in Workshop 309:
Toku 101: What is Tokusatsu? (7:00pm) and Toku 102: Just for Kicks!.... (8:00pm)
These are introductory panels to the fandom and genre, but please come and show your support!
There will also be a toku gathering with the Seattle Toku Weekend Facebook Group on Friday at 5:30pm and Saturday at 5:30pm. (Area 5 aka the second floor Cafe/International Meeting Place. We will wait 10-15 minutes for anyone that may come late and then we will walk to Union Square) Toku cosplay photoshoot will be held at these events. Drop by and meet other toku fans in the Seattle area.
Look for the group on Facebook if you haven't yet!!! We've grown to 48 members!!!!
