FYI, I am planning on buying it either as a Region 2 DVD IF it has English subs OR as a Region 1 release if it comes out in the States...
The reason I'm going to download it is because it looks that good a movie and it's a similar situation with DVD's of anime... I'm planning on buying DearS when it comes out because I downloaded and watched the fansubs of the show as I do with a lot of other anime such as Mai-Hime, Xenosaga the Animation, Smash Hit, Ultimate Girls, Emma, GTO the Movie [which I'll also buy on DVD], the list goes on...
Watching a show that you can download and which later comes out on DVD is a good way of finding out whether it's good enough to buy on DVD when it becomes licensed for release outside Japan...
My local anime society shows a lot of fansubs and that's how I got into DearS, 2x2=Shinobuden and Mai-Hime amongst others...
Just relax and don't get yourself in a twist over the fact that I got excited over the fact that one of my favorite anime and manga is coming out as a live-action movie...
Life is for living, not being angry at the little things in life...If you're frustrated about life, take it out on a videogame not on people like me...
