Because a lot of PR fans use any little thing from 2000 years ago in a single ep to make a BIG FREAKING DEAL about a small thing that happens.

Those were clues? Dude that tweet had nothing to do with where they got the name from! Same with the link. I'm talking about something that says where the name was inspired from. I didn't see anything like that. The lightening bolt is the only think that maaaaaybe holds up. And that's a huge f-ing maybe.

I'm curious to know how well an older season would do. Older shows don't seem to do very well on kids TV anymore.

Tell that to Yu-Gi-Oh. Isn't Toonzai airing the new Zexal series alongside the original one - an arrangement which is likely to continue on Vortexx?

Yugioh will remain on it. Konami/Saban reached an agreement to keep airing it after Saban took over. I believe the deal is through 2016.
