No its not pointless. The cast comes back anyway for a Team up right? That would also be a good time to grab them to do a movie as well for SPD. I mean hypothetically, lets imagine the SPD movie was released on DVD in Summer 2006. This is the middle of Magirangers run. You say "thats bad" but I say thats GOOD. Why do we want a Magiranger movie in the MIDDLE of a magiranger season? Thats stupid, I think. Where as a SPD movie does two things in the middle of a Magiranger season.

It psyches fans of SPD up who have had to say goodbye to their cast last year. And it also gives them another opportunity to see them again before they say goodbye a final time during the Team Up. I think it builds up hype and anticipation, personally for the team up. And for the team of last year. Like a final hurrah.

So yeah, I DO think it's wise to ask for a SPD movie. And I plan on writing for one.

Anywho about what I would want from the Movie:

I honestly dont care. If all they do is take the Dekaranger movie and copy it. Heck, if all they do is copy each sentai movie for each season then I will be happy. All I was is good writing, a good story/plot, and good action. Just because it goes straight to home DVD doesnt mean it has to be mediocre. Lots of straight to video movies based on tv shows arent that bad and have good writing. All I ask is that the movie be memorable and go out with a bang. And dammit, a movie should have not only morphed action but Nonmorphed AND Zord action. Even if they have to shoot new Megazord footage, movies should be the complete PR experience dammit.

I'm not interested in a SPD movie specifically but it would be nice to have some straight-to-video PR movies. With all of the garbage Disney churns out every year anyway, I fail to see how they couldn't work up a budget for a Power Rangers flick. I bet it would sell better than "Air Bud 7: Rugby Ruff Ruff", "The 3 Ninjas Meets the Mighty Ducks" or whatever tripe they have in store.

When I said Magiranger. I ment PowerRangers:Magiranger or Mystick Force or whatever the heck they are calling it. Im just not used to calling it Mistick Force yet so I said Magiranger instead.

The most I see happening is a straight to DVD movie or a TV Movie...which would still be better than the half hour Deka movie.

Lol! Have a cookie *tosses* that's what we've been talking about since the start of the thread. Not a theatrical release. But a straight to home video movie type thing.

I personally would love an SPD movie. Actually I've been thinking about the concept of an SPD movie for awhile now. Unlike most seasons of PR SPD would be the easiest to adapt into a made for tv movie. Hell they could even settle for ripping off the Dekaranger movie (and removing a few really chessy aspects).
