Imperer's Final Vent...was a..."Rider Knee???"

*shrugs*

PS: The Final Vent..."Drive Divider"...I know...I know... :redface2: :shakefist

I seriously sometimes think even the show's staff doesn't know. Going by the Katakana, インペラー (INPERAA), I personally think they were going for "Impaler", and it sounds the most cool and menacing.

It's interesting to note that his name sounds a little like "Impala", as in the car and African animal, which is similar to the gazelle, which his Contracted Monsters are based on.

i've seen imperer,impaler,impeller...so,which one is his name?

Imperer...the combinations of the words "Impala" and "Emperor"...so pretty much he's Masked Rider Impala Emperor...ROTFLMFAO

Same problems occur with Gai/Guy, Knight/Night, Tiger/Taiga, Oja/Ohja/Ouja...

That's an interesting way to put it. I still think "Impaler" sounds cooler, but Imperer is closer to the nature of the character. It still just sounds weird to me though.

Cool sig, Igadevil! But WTF is Faiz doing in there!?! :P

It has to be Impaler and Imperer is just an Engrish goof that happened on the toy box (which happens -- think of "Gorenger"). Besides being a play on what Igadevil mentioned (imperas), I always assumed the "impale" part came from the gazelles impaling their prey on their horns. Whatever the case, I always thought "Kamen Rider Impaler" was the coolest Rider name wasted on the goofiest Rider character.

And don't those knuckleheads also put Femme's name as "Fam"?

Haha, thanks. I just didn't have any other good pictures of Riders looking off to the side at the time.

Yeah, I agree with you, but I'm hesitant to say for certain what I think it is supposed to be, if only because I've seen it written both ways in Japanese books (of course, take that with a grain of salt) and as FreedomR8G6B1 pointed out, the "Impala Emperor" thing does make sense.

Something else that may or may not be important, but the name of his double-drill weapon was "Gazelle Stab", which I thought would tie into the whole "Impaler" idea. Oh well, we may never know for sure.
