Rush Week: Dive into the Thrilling New Mode of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Rush Week has arrived, and horror gaming fans are in for a treat with the latest DLC for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre! After paying for early access on September 27, I can confidently say this mode is an exhilarating experience worth the hype. Although it’s now available for free play, those who jumped in early got a head start on the action. What is Rush Week? Rush Week is a standalone mode that offers a fresh twist on the classic horror gameplay, completely separate from the main campaign. The main campaign features a thrilling three-versus-four asymmetric format, where three players take on the roles of the terrifying Slaughter Family, while four others become unsuspecting victims. This dynamic creates a tense atmosphere reminiscent of Dead by Daylight, but with unique elements that heighten the suspense of survival. Introducing New Victims In Rush Week, players can control six new victims—Omega Sigma Theta Sorority members. While they don’t have individual names or perks, these sorority girls come equipped with various items to aid in their survival and create distractions. The randomized character selection keeps things exciting, as you […]

I'm so frustrated with Rush Week right now. I keep getting matched up with teams of sorority girls who know how to exploit a glitch with the front door. They can just keep going in and out, and I can't do anything to stop them. It's completely unfair, and it's ruining the game for me. I've tried reporting the glitch, but nothing seems to be happening. I'm starting to think that the developers don't care about fixing this problem. It's really disappointing because I love this game, but I'm not going to keep playing if this glitch is going to ruin my experience.

I wish they had given the sorority girls names. It feels a bit weird calling them by their appearance, like "Blonde Girl" or "Ginger Girl." It would have been nice to get to know them as individuals and see their unique personalities shine through. Maybe in a future update, they could add names and backstories for the girls. That would definitely make them feel more like real people and add another layer of depth to the gameplay.

Dude, Rush Week is insane! I love the new victims and the whole sorority house setting. It feels so much more intimate than the main campaign. And Johnny's progression system is super cool. I can't wait to see how many kills I can get before he becomes a total monster.

This is like a game adaptation of Black Christmas titled Texas Chainsaw Massacre! I'm so glad we finally have a horror game that captures the same atmosphere and suspense. It's the perfect way to fill the void left by the Friday the 13th game. The sorority house setting and the relentless killer are a winning combination.

Rush Week is scary as hell! I love the atmosphere and the tension. The sorority house setting is really creepy, and Johnny is a terrifying villain. I've been playing with a friend, and we've been having a blast trying to survive together.

Rush Week is perfect for people who like fast-paced action. The matches are short and intense, and there's always something happening. I love the feeling of being chased around the sorority house by Johnny. It's so thrilling.

Man, it sucks when your teammates are so selfish. We all died because everyone was just out for themselves. If we had worked together as a team, we could have totally won. It's so frustrating.

Okay, so I’m just going to give these girls names to make things easier when we talk about them:

1. Keisha – (First girl, afro hairstyle, pajama set)
I’m calling her Kayla because she looks super calm and collected, like she’s got everything under control. The afro and the chill pajama set give off serious “I’m the brains of this operation” vibes. I bet she’s the one who keeps her cool and probably knows how to fix the landline without even breaking a sweat.

2. Suki – (Second girl, black hair, white crop top)
Suki seems like the athletic one to me. Her sporty outfit and sleek look scream speed and agility. She’s definitely the girl you’d want on your team if you’re trying to outrun Johnny. I’m picturing her using vents and small spaces to disappear in a heartbeat.

3. Brooke – (Third girl, blonde hair, cheerleader outfit)
Blonde cheerleader vibes, so I’m calling her Brooke. She looks like the bold, fearless leader of the group, probably the one rallying everyone to stick together and make a plan. She seems like she’s ready to grab a weapon and go toe-to-toe with Johnny if necessary.

4. Lily – (Fourth girl, blonde hair, peach dress)
I’m getting softer, more strategic vibes from her. Lily looks like the quiet one, maybe a bit shy, but secretly one of the most tactical. She’d probably be the one fixing the car or calling the cops while everyone else is panicking. Very clever, very low-key.

5. Roxy – (Fifth girl, brunette hair, towel)
Roxy looks like the wildcard of the group! I mean, she’s wearing a towel, so I feel like she’d be the one doing something crazy to distract Johnny. Maybe she’s unpredictable and a bit reckless, but that makes her the one who takes risks the others wouldn’t dare.

6. Amber – (Sixth girl, red hair, pajama set)
I’m naming the redhead Amber. She gives off an observant, calculated vibe. Probably the one staying quiet but always watching where Johnny is, planning her next move. She’s the one you don’t notice until she’s the last one standing, outsmarting everyone.

I love the atmosphere Rush Week brings. The setting of the sorority house in 1978 just screams classic horror vibes, and that’s what makes this DLC stand out. It’s smaller and more intimate than the sprawling ranch from the main campaign, and that creates a sense of urgency and tension I haven’t felt in a horror game in a while. Plus, Johnny’s stealth progression makes you feel like you’re in a slasher movie, where the killer becomes more dangerous as the body count rises. The fear system really adds a psychological edge, making me think twice about every move I make. It’s such a fresh twist on the horror survival genre, and I’m totally hooked.
