Rising Sun Quits Making Websites

Black Ranger RX

I don't have low self esteem.
Never wanted to do this, but I've decided to give it the axe.

It's been like, how long? Since 2004-ish?, I've been making websites. It's been fun but just now I've started growing bored with it.

I'm not sure whether this is officially true or not but I always get this obscure feeling that people are either not visiting or just ignoring my websites. Why? Well, whenever I promote my sites by creating a thread on a message board, I never get any responses.

Another annoying thing is, how I'm always getting bored with one idea, then moving onto another, then back, then forth..

Anyway, I spend a LONG time making websites, and I'm talking like full days in front of the fricken computer bashing HTML codes on my keyboard, and stuff. And if nobody's visiting my websites, or if people are just pushing them aside and ignoring them, then it would be like me spending ages doing all this work, wasting all my time for nothing. And I've had enough of this, so I've decided to shut down all my websites, and there probably won't be another website from me for at least a while (I might make another one after a month or so depending on what mood I'm in).

Rising Sun Forums is also shut down too.

In the meantime, I'll probably look for some other hobby of some sort.

To everybody who enjoyed my websites while they were still there, and signed the guestbook, thank you very much for your appreciation. It's been really fun, but I've gotta move on.

I've started doing so since 2004 too. Like you, I also feel that my site didn't get much attention (well, since I'm bad at whoring it around. I also considered quitting it). But hey, at least, I don't have the pressure of keeping it up-to-date every freakin' day. We do have a life outside, yeah?

Whatever it is, you're planning from now, do your best, eh? Cheers, mate.

maybe you can pimp out your myspace to the max.

If only I knew how to "pimp it out". Maybe I could use a bit of help from Xzibit, but he only pimps out rides.

Hmmmmm. ^^; Websites put food in my mouth so I can't quit so easily >_>

Yeah, it becomes a bit of an obsession and an addiction too.

Is your website the one on your sig? If so I'm surprised seeing as your website has a domain and mine are all hosted for free on Freewebs. And I seem to promote my website alot too. I feel like I'm becomming some sort of attention whore pop star promoting my greatest hits album of annoying music.

Whatever it is, you're planning from now, do your best, eh? Cheers, mate.

Thanks!!

I pretty much am gonna make another website again. Maybe I'll revive one of my old sites again, maybe I'll do something unusual, but til then I'll take a while's worth of a break.
