Rewatching 'Goblin': Does It Still Hold Up in 2025?

I recently decided to rewatch 'Goblin' after hearing so many people rave about it, and I might be in the minority, but I think it still holds up quite well! The chemistry between Gong Yoo and Kim Go-eun is just as amazing as I remembered, and those poignant moments hit me right in the feels all over again.

However, I'm also curious if others feel the same way. With so many new dramas coming out, do you think 'Goblin' has lost some of its magic, or do you still find it just as enchanting? Are there moments that resonate with you more now than they did back when it aired? I'd love to hear what everyone thinks about this classic!

Not y’all bringing up Goblin like it wasn’t the drama that had us all crying and questioning our life choices! Honestly, I rewatched it not too long ago too, and I can confirm it still hits different. The chemistry between Gong Yoo and Kim Go-eun? Chef’s kiss!

But let’s be real, the amount of angst and supernatural shenanigans was peak K-drama cringe, and I ate it up with a spoon. Those moments where they just stare into each other’s eyes like they’re about to solve world peace? Iconic.

As for whether it’s lost its magic with all the new dramas dropping, I think it still holds a special place in our hearts. It’s like that old favorite song you can’t help but sing along to. But I gotta ask, do you think the new dramas can ever reach that level of iconic status? Or are we just nostalgic for the feels?
