Review: KR CharaWheels (Updated & W/ NEW Photos!!)

First off...what are CharaWheels you ask? Well my friends, they are none other than a Japanese expansion of Hot Wheels (which in my opinion have gone down hill in recent years) that include popular characters in hotwheel form, usually from movies & tv shows.
And Kamen Rider is no exception.

All the toys are really small (as is standard for HotWheel toys), but are SUPER detailed, right down to the small stickers or symbols that might be on the bikes in the series. And as is standard w/ most HotWheel toys, these are made w/ Die Cast Metal!

You can find CharaWheels in the standard individual carded form and in the giftsets. But more on that in a moment.

First lets just look at the individual carded ones...

Now onto the giftset that I mentioned earlier.

You can also get a BUNCH of your favorite Riders, that include the forms of the bikes that were not released as single carded toys, in one bigass giftset!

As you can see, even the front packaging looks badass!!! Turning the box to the side, you can see that the main packaging is just a slip case for 3 individual boxes...


The first one contains the bikes from KR Kuuga & Agito...

We have (from top left going left to right) a small diecast fig of Agito in his Tri form, Agito "surfing" on his bike, Another Agito riding a bike, Go Badaa Ba; a villain from Kuuga (thanks Igadevil), a small fig of Kuuga in his 'about to Rider Kick you' pose, and Kuuga on his fully armored bike.

Even the BACK of the individual boxes have cool pics on them too!!..


Next is Ryuki & Faiz...

We have a small diecast fig of Ryuki in Survive form, and then him riding his Mirror Monster in Survive Form, Knight riding his Mirror Monster in Survive Form, Kaixa's Side Basshar (w/ a little Kaixa that you can put on it), a small diecast fig of Faiz in Blaster Mode (holding the Faiz Blaster), and Faiz on JetSliger (sp?) and also a little fig of Delta that you can also put on JetSliger.
Oh, and as a bonus...JetSliger's tires can also move sideways...just like on the show!!!

Finally we have Blade...

Included in this box is Garren, Blade, & Chalice, and then what I'm assuming is a booklet that tells about each toy (I haven't opened up the boxes).

All that's missing from Blade is Leangle...which I'm hoping will be released on a single card some time down the line.

Oh so thats what those were, I found 2 of them at Megacon earlier this year, V3 and 1. Mmm I want the Kuuga and Faiz ones!

Damn, why does Another Agito have to come in that set!?! I need him to complete my Agito Rider CWs.

I wish the Charawheels would get off their ass and put out some more sentai ones. I'd love a set of the Changeman, Flashman and Liveman teams on their bikes. And damn it, I want a Spielban on Hovarian Charawheel! The Uchuu Keiji tanked, so I guess they're not going through with more metal heroes. And where is Kamen Rider Black on Battle Hopper...!?! No, they release ass-ugly Rideron.

I'm a bit pissed because I bought the Zubatcar and then a cooler one (with Zubat standing in it) came out in a big set like this. Why can't they sell them individually after a while?

And while I'm at it, I'm pissed at CW for making me pay quite a bit for the Abaranger set and it failing, so several months later you can find it a HLJ for 400 yen.
