Renee Zellweger is unrecognizable on this coming Dateline NBC True Crime series. Zellweger is no stranger to transforming for a role. She did it first in Bridget Jones’s diary. This time she use a prosthesis and paddings to look the part.  Transforming into another person is nothing new for Renee Zellweger as she achieved that before for her Award Winning portrayal of Judy Garland in Judy.

The thing about Pam is about the infamous murderer Pam Hupp. A woman who killed her best friend Betsy Faria and framed Betsy’s husband.  The reason for the crime is money as Pam found a way to make herself the sole beneficiary of Betsy’s insurance policy. Russ Faria, Betsy’s husband was jailed and framed for the murder of his wife despite his innocence in 2013.

Pam Hupp is one of the evilest people I have ever seen. Who needs enemies if you have a friend like that.

Initially, I was never a fan of Renée Zellweger. I didn't like the movies she starred in and I didn't like her looks. She never captured my attention. My thinking about her was very arbitrary. However, I saw her in two completely different films (“A Price Above Rubies” and “Chicago”) and she pulled off both roles very convincingly. That's when I realized she had character range and versatility and that she was capable of handling lots of different roles. So the fact that she could play the famous Judy Garland and then turn around and play the infamous Pam Hupp, comes as no surprise. Hey! When you got it … you got it!
