Remembering The Last Story on Wii, 15 years later

It's hard to believe it's been 15 years since The Last Story dropped on the Wii, and somehow it's still the only way to experience this gem. The game really pushed the envelope for RPGs back in the day, but here we are, still waiting for it to hit other platforms.

"One of the best RPGs of the 21st century is still stuck on the Nintendo Wii."

With no remasters or ports in sight, it makes you wonder if we'll ever see it again. Anyone else think it deserves a second chance on modern consoles?

The Last Story really was a standout RPG on the Wii, and it's a shame it's stuck there. The blend of real-time combat and classic RPG elements was ahead of its time, and it had such a unique charm. It definitely deserves a shot at modern consoles, not to mention some potential quality-of-life improvements that could really enhance the experience.

I often think about how many other hidden gems are stuck on older hardware. It'd be great to see more developers recognize that demand for these older titles. Do you think a remaster could also bring in new players who missed it the first time around?
