Religion in SPD?

Now I know, relgion is a hot topic, and fear not I`m not trying to rouse a theological debate, [rimshot]theres enough of that going on in politics![/rimshot]. But I would like to bring this up. I believe in what I believe, but I love hearing about other peoples belief system. It lets me know just a bit about the person than what I knew before. The approach with SPD is exactly how I had pictured it.

Give a ranger something to believe in than just fighting a monster daily. Let the viewer know that this guy or girl has a personal life that runs deeper than shouting a hi-ya all the time. Early on we learn Bridge is Jewish and Jack`s parents were Misssionaries. Wheather it`s Peter Parker looking up and asking God "Why?" or Oliver Queen`s atheism. The fact that sometimes we see into a superhero`s soul means we see the person behind the mask just a smidge more.

I thought it was pretty neat that they said Bridge was Jewish. Definately an unexpected line that I never tought I'd hear be brought up in Power Rangers.

Although it's not the first time. That God awful Christmas special talked of yearly celebrations from several religions if I remember right.

Correct. Which reminds me, who was that guy with the dreads back then? I was so expecting him to whip out of Zeonizer when Billy left.
